Supplementary Add-ons For Wow | May Edition of Cold's Gold Blogging Carnival

Cold's Gold Blogging Carnival

Welcome to the May edition of Cold's Gold Blogging Carnivals. These carnivals will continue to take place the 11th day of every month and will be hosted here at Cold's Gold Factory. All World of Warcraft bloggers are welcome to participate and feedback both here and on the original authors' sites is strongly encouraged. So show some support and please leave some feedback in the comments section. These bloggers put a lot of time and hard work into these blogging carnival posts so please let them know what you think of their blogging carnival entries.

If you would like to be included in the next month's carnival, please review the guidelines for Cold's Gold Blogging Carnivals and submit your link via email (ssmith0911 at live dot com) before the 10th of the month. Read up on the benefits of blogging carnival participation at my other blog designed to help new bloggers, Blogging Vitals. Articles are listed in the order they are received. Thank you to all the bloggers participating in this months carnival! And without further ado, I present to you this month's participants answering the question:

Add-On Spotlight:  Which supplimentary add-on would you recommend that all auctioneers should use and why?  (Do not use a Core Add-On)

Here this month we have a nice collections of tips for helping to take your WoW gold making to another level.  If you are new to the auction house game or are just curious about getting started be sure to listen to your elders. We have gone before you and can teach you many things. My first guide, Mysterious Fortune Card Mastery, has been helping a handful of players who have already got their fortune card business up and running and are raking in the WoW gold.  Grab your copy now before the price goes up.  Also remember to check out the Gold Guide over at 20k Leveling (since Alto is now updating it) - another great resource to get you up and running and making tons of gold in no time. Be sure to check out AuctionHouseJunkies.com for the podcast on making gold hosted by myself and Wes of Capped By Cata.

Accountant Classic by Prncesspwn of Prncesspwn's AH
"I immediately knew what add-on I was choosing, and it’s Accountant Classic. Why? Cuz it rocks! Do you sell Darkmoon Cards in trade to avoid the AH fees? Well, I do. And that is one of the fantastic features that this addon offers.  Unlike MySales (which I use to track my gold within the AH), Accountant Classic shows me my sales and purchases in person to person trades.  But one awesome feature of Accountant Classic is not only does it track your incoming gold but it also tracks your outgoing gold as well."

Cataclysm Rare Spawns Tracker by Alto of Altos' Goldish Advise
"If you are familiar with using addons, this is a breeze. Hit up curse.com to search around, or just click these links to download: NPC Scan, NPC Scan Overlay. Toss them in your "addons" folder, and you are good to go. Remember, you need both downloaded, one won't work. BOTH. If you use curse client, it will give auto updates, but in this case, either or is fine."

Tbag Add-On by Bangkok Bill of Bangkok Bill's World of Goldcraft
"Since I can't recommend a core add-on and it should be an add-on that all auctioneers should use I want to recommend everyone go out and check Tbag. Despite having a horrible, horrible name Tbag is a great add-on that helps you save immense amounts of time by merging all of your bags into one big window and auto sorting everything."

Two Golden Add-ons by R9sid9nt9vil of Eviscerated.net
"Two of my favorite add-ons to use are Lil Sparky’s Workshop and Gnomeworks. These add-ons, together, can help you spot surges in the market and if you look at them regularly enough you can get in on them before everyone else does. The way I use them is to get current auction house data from a scan, then log onto each character one at a time and open up their professions to let the data populate. Once this is done I will go down through to see if anything jumps out at me."

Sweet Little Addon by Toltec of Dark Tuesday
"Check out Dumpster! This little beauty is a MAJOR time-saver. If you’re into glyphs or tend to be moving heaps of any inventory in and out of your bags, bank and guild bank you’ll find this is the best add-on sinceTrade Skill Master (TSM)!"

Gold And More At A Glance by The Gold Queen of TheGoldQueen.com
"I’ve found this little treasure, called Glance, that you can download from Curse. Glance gives you a little bar along the top of your screen (resizeable under /glance options).  At first glance (get it?) it looks like fubar (no longer updated) or titan panel."

Panda by Wes of Capped By Cata
"I wanted to focus on an add-on that I just recently started using. It's called Panda. It can be found here: Curse - Panada Panda is a very simple mod. From what I've read it was originally designed to help with Mass disenchanting. However, I downloaded it looking for a better way to prospect ore. Panada works with a very simple interface that allows you to simply point and click your way to your profits."

AnnounceIt Add-On For Barking by Cold of Cold's Gold Factory
"This add-on is designed for creating up to 5 lines of text in any chat channel.  It is commonly used for posting vent info, but it can also be used to help automate your barking business."
